The following table describes the part parameters required for switching devices when 217Plus is the selected calculation model. This model supports all but the following subcategories of switching devices:

• Circuit Breaker

• Keyboard

Parameter	Type	Description
Year of Manufacture	Integer	The four-digit year in which the device was manufactured (such as 1998 or 2004). The default is the current year.
Type	Choice List	Required only for the following subcategories: Other, Rocker or Slide, and Toggle or Pushbutton. The type of device. Choices vary by subcategory.
Temperature Rise Case Temp Override	Real (Degrees C)	The 217Plus model for switching devices does not provide for temperature changes. To meet customer demands for a way to make temperature adjustments, Temperature Rise and Case Temp Override are provided. For more information, see Basic Temperature Parameters.
