Inserting an Event Directly in an FTA Event Library File
You can insert events that you want to reuse in multiple fault trees directly in an FTA Event Library file.
1. If the FTA Event Library file is not already created or opened, then create or open it.
2. For each event to insert, do the following:
a. In the last row in the Event Table, click < Click here to insert a new record >. The Insert Event window opens.
b. Select the type of insert and click OK.
c. In the
Event Table, complete the columns. They are identical to those in the
FTA Table in the
System file. For more information, see
FTA Table Pane.
3. When finished, close this file.
