Reporting on FRACAS Lookup Table Files
You can report on FRACAS Lookup Table files. To compliment the general reporting information in Reporting, this topic provides knowledge specific to creating reports for FRACAS Lookup Table files.
During the creation of a Report Design file, the Create Report - Select Report Type window opens. To create a Report Design file for a FRACAS Lookup Table file, you first locate FRACAS Lookup Table in this window. Under this heading, you select the FRACAS table type with which FRACAS Lookup Table files are associated.
For example, to report on FRACAS Lookup Table files for the FRACAS Incidents table, under FRACAS Lookup Table, you select FRACAS Incidents. All enabled table types that support FRACAS Lookup Tables files are available for selection.
After the Report Design file is created, you use the Data Fields toolbar to insert fields. You can insert fields from the FRACAS table type selected during creation of the Report Design file. Additionally, you can insert key fields from the FRACAS Lookup Table file. For the Team Edition only, you can also insert fields from the Revision Information table.
Generic labels are shown for key fields because the Report Design file is not tied to a specific FRACAS Lookup Table file. Key fields can vary from one FRACAS Lookup Table file to another in regard to both the number of fields selected and the specific fields. Consequently, actual field names cannot be shown.
