Percentage Calculations Page
Under FRACAS in the Calculate window, the Percentage Calculations page provides for applying different filters to compute as many as five different percentage calculations. Percentage calculations divide the number of table records that meet the criteria of the selected filter by the total number of table records and then multiply that value by 100. For example, you can compute a percentage calculation for incidents that occurred at a specific site. By default, all calculations are cleared. You can click the Select All button or Clear All button to select or clear all calculations and then customize your selections from there. The following table describes the table columns on the Percentage Calculations page.
Column
Description
Calculate
Provides for calculating percentages by dividing the number of table records that meet the criteria of the selected filter by the total number of table records and then multiplying by 100. When the checkbox for a calculation is selected, the value is computed.
Value
The data field in which to store the percentage calculation result.
Table Type
The table to use for the percentage calculation. This selection determines the total number of relevant records. Choices are FRACAS Incidents (default) and FRACAS Maintenance Logs.
Filter
The filter to apply to records in the selected table. All filters associated with the selected table type are available. For example, if Incidents is the selected table type, all filters associated with the FRACAS Incidents table are available for selection. The number of incident records that meet the criteria for the chosen filter is divided by the total number of incident records. This value is then multiplied by 100.
