Mean Calculations Page
Under FRACAS in the Calculate window, the Mean Calculations page provides for computing as many as five different mean calculations. Mean calculations compute the mean (average) value for the selected field in a table. For example, you can compute a mean calculation for maintenance log labor rates or the costs associated with performing a maintenance action. By default, all calculations are cleared. You can click the Select All button or Clear All button to select or clear all calculations and then customize your selections from there. The following table describes the table columns on the Mean Calculations page.
Column

Calculate
Provides for calculating the mean (average) value for the selected field. When the checkbox for a calculation is selected, the value is computed.
Value
The data field in which to store the mean calculation result.
Table Type
The table to use for the percentage calculation. This selection determines the total number of relevant records. Choices are FRACAS Incidents (default) and FRACAS Maintenance Logs.
Field
The field for which to calculate the mean value. Only numeric fields are available for selection.
Filter
The filter to apply to the mean calculation. For example, you could create and apply a filter to calculate the average maintenance cost for only the records in the Maintenance Log with Depot selected for Maintenance Level.
