Modifying a Part Definition
In the FMEA Modes Library file, you can modify an existing part definition.
1. If the FMEA Modes Library file is not already open, then open it.
2. In the Part Definition pane, double-click the row containing the subcategory record. The Edit Part Definition window opens.
The options in this window are the same as those in the Add Part Definition window. For more information, see Add/Edit Part Definition Window.
3. Make the necessary changes and click OK.
If your changes result in a part definition that is not unique, this window remains open and another window opens, indicating that a record with these values already exists. When you click OK, you can either make additional changes in the Edit Part Definition window or click Cancel to close it without saving your changes.
