Inserting Fields and Modifying Field Properties
When the FMEA Design file is open, you can use the Add Field command to start the Add a Field Wizard or the Edit Field command to start the Edit a Field Wizard.
• The Add a Field Wizard is used to insert a new FMEA field in the FMEA Design file and then specify field properties that are saved to the Project’s Data Definition file.
• The Edit a Field Wizard is used to make changes to properties for a selected field and then save them to the Project’s Data Definition file.
You open the
FMEA Design file in the same manner as any other file. To start the appropriate Wizard, you select either > or > . For more information, see
