FMEA Worksheet Record Sources

When a record is inserted in the FMEA Worksheet table, Source is completed in the database. A separate field exists for each data level (item, mode, cause, and effect). For example, if you insert an item, Item Source is completed, and the source fields for the lower data levels (Mode Source, Cause Source, and Effect Source) are left blank. The following table describes the values that can be saved to the field for a data level.

Source	Description
User	The record is inserted by a Windchill Risk and Reliability user.
Modes Library	The record is inserted from an enabled FMEA Modes Library file. For more information, see FMEA Modes Library Files.
FMEA Fault Equivalence	The record is inserted from the FMEA Fault Equivalence file based on criteria for key fields. For more information, see FMEA Fault Equivalence Files.
Built	The record is inserted during automatic building of the FMEA. For more information, see FMEA Roll Up and Building.
