Associating FMEA Records or Global Attributes with Control Plans
From the FMEA Tree Items, FMEA Worksheet, and Global Attributes tables, you can use special fields to associate records with existing control plans.
1. From the record that you want to associate with a control plan, click the special field for associations.
In the FMEA Tree Items or FMEA Worksheet table, click Controls.
In the Global Attributes table, click FMEA Control Plans.
The browse button becomes available.
2. Click the browse button. The Associated FMEA Control Plans window opens, displaying a table with all existing control plans.
The first column, which is always Associated, contains checkboxes that indicate the control plans that are already associated with the record.
3. Select Associated for all control plans that you want to associate with the record.
You can click Select All or Clear All to select or clear all checkboxes and then customize your selections from there.
4. When finished, click Close.
You return to the record from which you opened the Associated FMEA DVPs window. The special field for associations is updated to display the number of control plans that are associated with the record.
