Inserting a Page Break in an Event Tree
You can insert page breaks in a complex event tree to make managing and printing it easier. You can insert a page break for any branch in the event tree. This branch and all of its dependent branches are then shown on their own page. When an Event Tree report is printed, the page breaks that you insert are used. Any additional page breaks required for printing are also automatically inserted.
*
For page breaks to display, paging must be turned on. Selecting Event Tree > Disable Paging switches between turning event tree paging on and off. When a checkmark appears next to this command, paging is turned off.
1. Double-click the branch for which to insert a page break. The Branch Properties window opens.
2. On the General page, select Page break. Selecting this checkbox inserts a page break.
3. Click OK
In the diagram, an arrow appears at the end of the selected branch to show that it is repeated as the first branch on the new page. To follow the page break, see Following an Event Tree Page Break.
To permanently remove a page break from a branch, you repeat the above procedure, clearing Page break. Once the page break is removed, the branch and all child branches are shown on the parent page. To temporarily view all branches on the parent page, you turn paging off. For more information, see Viewing the Entire Event Tree on One Page
