Workflow Special Fields Table

The Workflow Special Fields table contains fields that you can insert only in the Workflow file. When you are configuring the email message for a step in the Email pane, you can use the Data Fields Toolbar to insert one of the special fields in this table into the subject line or body of the message.

The following table describes the special fields in the Workflow Special Fields table. For more information, see Creating the Email Message to Send for a Workflow Step.

Field	Description
System File Name	The name of the System file.
Workflow State Set By	The name of the user who changed Workflow State. Changing the selection for this field is what causes email messages to be sent. In the Enterprise Edition, the log-in user name is used. For the Team Edition, the computer name is used.
