All formulas that are inserted in the Formulas window appear on the Functions page in the Edit Formula window when User Defined is selected as the function type. You can embed user-defined formulas to run complex calculations. If you create a user-defined formula that is either directly or indirectly recursive, an error message displays when generating the report and zero is stored as the result for this calculation.
