Description
Language preference
Indicates the dictionary to use for spelling checks. Choices are:
Follow language selection — When selected (default), an attempt is made to use the dictionary associated with the selection for General > Language. For example, if French or German is selected, the dictionary for that language selection is used. However, if any other language is selected, the American English dictionary is used.
British English — When selected, the British English dictionary is used.
American English — When selected, the American English dictionary is used.
French — When selected, the French dictionary is used.
German — When selected, the German dictionary is used.
Show spelling complete message
Indicates whether a Spelling window opens when a spelling check is completed. When this checkbox is selected (default), this window opens. Clearing this checkbox is equivalent to selecting Do not show this message again in this Spelling window.
Use internal dictionary
Indicates whether to use the internal Windchill Risk and Reliability dictionary during a spellcheck. This dictionary contains many technical terms common to QLM (quality life cycle management). When this checkbox is selected (default), this dictionary is used. Clearing this checkbox can result in a large number of QLM terms being flagged as misspelled words.
