Saving a Graph to a Local Image File
You can save an image of a graph to a local image file. You can then open this file in a graphics program or insert it in a word-processing or spreadsheet file. You can also send an image files as an attachment to an email message, providing an easy way to share graphs with co-workers, colleagues, and customers.
1. Select File > Save Image. The Save As window opens. The default location is your My Windchill Risk and Reliability Files folder for the current installation. You can use the navigational options in the Save As window to select a different folder.
2. For Save as type, select the file format to which to save the graph image. The choices, which follow, can be opened by most popular graphics programs, including Microsoft Paint:
Bitmap Files (*.bmp)
JPEG Files (*.jpg)
Portable Network Graphics (*.png)
TIFF files (*.tif)
GIF Files (*.gif)
3. For File name, enter the name to assign to the file.
4. If you do not want to open the file after its creation, clear Open Image file.
5. Click Create. An attempt is made to open the newly created file if Open Image File was selected.
