Running Total

The following table describes the single property that can appear under Running Total in the Properties window for a report object. This property appears only when a running total is selected.

Property	Description
Running Total	The name of the running total. A running total is a total of the values for a numeric data field for all records up to and including the current record. For example, if the first three records have values of 2, 4, and 6, the running total of these three records would be 2, 6, and 12, respectively. Running totals are inserted in a Report Design file using the Running Totals window. For more information, see Running Total How-Tos.
