In many places, you use drop-down controls to select a table record. In some cases, the drop-down control appears on the right side of the field in which you make the selection. Clicking a drop-down control can display a selection list or open a selection window. If the entire list of records from which you can select is not visible in the window, a scroll bar is present. Selection windows often have buttons for closing them. Clicking the green checkmark saves your current selection and closes the window. Clicking the red X closes the window without saving your current selection.
