Opening the Customize Window

You can customize menus and toolbars using the Customize window. To open this window, do one of the following:

• Right-click in the toolbar area and select Customize.

• Select Tools > Customize.

The following table describes the type of tasks that can be performed from the tabs in the Customize window.

Tab	Tasks
Commands	Used to add a button to a toolbar.
Toolbars	Used to show selected toolbars, reset toolbars to default options, and create, rename, and delete custom toolbars.
Keyboard	Used to customize existing or set new shortcut key assignments. Also provides for resetting all shortcut key assignments to their defaults.
Menu	Used to add new commands to a shortcut menu. Also provides for setting menu display options and resetting all menus to their defaults.
Options	Used to indicate whether to show tooltips and shortcut keys on toolbars commands and whether to double the size of the buttons.

When you are using the Customize window to customize menus and toolbars, click Close.
