Handling Duplicate Identifiers
When records are being imported into a table in the System file, the Importing Duplicate Identifier window opens if duplicate identifiers are found.
In this window, you indicate how to handle the occurrence of duplicate identifiers.
• Clicking Yes imports the record with a new identifier.
• Clicking No skips this record so that it is not imported.
Notify me about all duplicate identifiers controls whether the action that you select is applied to all future duplicate identifiers. By default, this checkbox is selected so that you must make a choice for each record with a duplicate identifier. If you clear this checkbox prior to clicking Yes or No, your decision is applied to all future occurrences of duplicate identifiers.
