A global option is an option that affects all users. In the Enterprise Edition, only system administrators can set global options because these options are not shown in the Options window in Windchill Risk and Reliability but rather in the Options window in the Administrator application. As noted in Option Headings, topics describing user options place an asterisk (*) after all global options.
