When you open a Graph Template file, the graph settings and properties saved to this file are used to generate the graph based on the current data in a System file. You can open a Graph Template file in the same manner as any other file. Additionally, in the Project Navigator, you can click the Graph Template file to open it.

If only one System file exists in the Project containing the Graph Template file, the graph is regenerated based on the current data in it. If two or more System files exist in this Project, the Select File window opens so that you can select the appropriate System file.

If additional items must be selected prior to graph generation, such as a system tree configuration or a specific diagram or item in the System file, the windows for making the necessary selections also appear.
