Freezing and Unfreezing a Column in a Table
In any System file table, you can freeze a column. When you freeze a column, it and all columns to its left are frozen. This means that while you can scroll through columns to the right, you cannot scroll through columns to the left.
1. In the column you want to freeze, click any cell.
2. Do one of the following:
a. Right-click in the column header and select Freeze Column.
b. Select View > Freeze Column.
The frozen column separator displays to the right of the frozen column. An angled pushpin icon is also shown in the header of the frozen column.

This column, and all columns to its left, are frozen for scrolling. When you want to unfreeze the column, you basically repeat the above procedure, selecting the Clear Frozen Column command that is shown instead.
When you close a System file, frozen column separators are saved to your personal settings, The next time you open this System file, columns are still frozen.
