File headings appear in bold type in the File Properties pane of the Project Properties window. When you select a file heading, depending on the file type and whether files of this type reside in the Common Library, one or more panes are shown.

For example, if you select the System heading or the heading for a singular support file (such as Calculation or Data Definition), only the General pane is shown. If you select a library file heading, two tabbed panes are always shown: General and File Search Order. When files of this type reside in the Common Library, a Common Library pane is also shown. You use this pane to enable Common Library files of this type in the Project. For example, if you select FMEA Modes Library and files of this type reside in the Common Library, three panes are shown: General, Common Library - FMEA Modes Library, and File Search Order.
