ALT System File Properties
The following table describes the properties that appear under ALT in the System file properties. These properties affect Windchill ALT when this module is in use.

Auto-Calculate data sets
Indicates whether to run calculations as you enter data for a standard ALT data set. When this checkbox is cleared (default), calculations are run only when you initiate them. In this case, to quickly calculate the data set, you click Calculate in the title bar of either the ALT Parameters or ALT Plot Options pane. You can also perform the procedure described in Calculating ALT Results. When this checkbox is selected, calculations for a standard ALT data set are run as you enter data and parameter values.

This property applies only to a standard ALT data set. For other data set types, such as stress profiles and accelerated degradation data sets, you must always initiate calculations.
Default Column Names
The many properties under this subheading allow you to rename columns shown in ALT Data Points panes. You use the same method to do this as you do to rename columns in Weibull Data Points panes. For more information, see Changing the Names of Data Point Columns.
