The RDF 2000 model does not use the general part categories and subcategories. It uses the part categories and subcategories specified in the RDF 2000 standard, Reliability Data Handbook - Universal Model for Reliability Prediction of Electronic Components, PCBs, and Equipment. This model cannot be mixed with any other model when performing predictions and must be selected as the calculation model for the top-level assembly in a new System file. To make the RDF 2000 part categories and subcategories available, you must select RDF 2000 / IEC as the part classification.
