Edition and Module Changes
The following table notes changes to Editions and modules in Relex 2011.
Change
Description
Edition Changes
Corporate Edition
Relex 2011 does not offer a Corporate Edition. To preserve backwards compatibility, existing Corporate licenses are not changed. Because Corporate licenses behave exactly like Enterprise licenses, the License and Authorized Product Options pages in About windows indicate that the Enterprise Edition is in use. When you convert prior files to Relex 2011 files, at the end of the conversion, a page displays the system administrator user name and password. It explains that you should print or save this account information as it is needed to create new databases in Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator and to perform administrative and maintenance database tasks.
License Manager
This application is no longer installed in any Edition as the PTC method is used for licensing.
Module Changes
Human Factors Risk Analysis
Because you can easily customize FMEAs to provide comparable analysis capabilities, this module is no longer supported.
Weibull
The Weibull Navigator is renamed the Life Data Navigator because it is used by both the Weibull and ALT modules. The LDA menu provides commands applicable to both modules, and the Weibull and ALT menus provide commands unique to these modules.
