Converting Prior Team Files to Windchill Risk and Reliability Team Files
You can use the Windchill Risk and Reliability Conversion Wizard to convert prior Team files to Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.0.0 Team files. To start this wizard, from the windows Start menu on the Windchill Risk and Reliability application server, select > > . Once this wizard starts, it displays either the Select File Type page (Enterprise Edition) or the Select Files Directory page (Team Edition).
1. If the Select File Type page appears, select File system and click Next. The Select Files Directory page appears. If Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.0.0 is installed on the same machine as the previous installation and a shared Files folder exist for this previous installation, it is the default for Files directory.
2. For Files directory, enter the path for the folder containing the prior files to convert. You can use the browse button to navigate to this folder.
3. Once the appropriate directory is specified, click Next. The Convert Backups page appears.
4. Indicate which backup files to convert and click Next. The page that appears depends on whether a personal Filter file and options are found.
◦ If they are found, the Convert Options page appears. Go to step 5.
◦ If they are not found, the Wizard Complete page appears. Go to step 6.
5. On the Convert Options page, indicate whether you want to convert your personal Filter file and options and click Next. The Wizard Complete page appears.
6. On the Wizard Complete page, click Finish to create Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.0.0 files from your previous files. Your previous files are not modified.
Status information is shown as the Project is converted. When the conversion finishes, the
Conversion Complete window opens. From this window, you can view, save, or print processing information. For more information, see
