Microsoft Active Directory (AD) servers are supported only in the Enterprise Edition. Any AD server settings specified prior to Studio 2008 are not converted. This is because active directories are handled in an entirely different manner. Multiple active directories are now supported, and setup and updates are managed much more effectively. In Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator, separate Active Directory Users and Active Directory Groups entities provide for more efficient administration of such accounts.
