Understanding Weibull Calculations
Calculations, which in Windchill Weibull are performed dynamically for life data sets, are based on the distribution specified. In the case of the Weibull distribution, the Weibull module calculates the following results:
β — The Beta value is the slope of the line.
η — The Eta value is the characteristic life, which is the point at which 63.2% of the items in the data set have failed.
ρ — The Rho value is a value between -1 and 1 that expresses how well the data fits the probability line.
ρ2 — The Rho-squared value is the 10th percentile of the correlation coefficient.
In the lower left window, you can view these calculated values in the Calculation results area in panes in which you specify analysis parameters.
