Creating a Simple Block Diagram
1. In the RBD Diagrams table, select the Block Diagrams folder.
2. Select > . A new block diagram is inserted and, in the RBD Diagram pane below, only start and end nodes are present.
All block diagrams start at the start node and then provide one or more paths through the blocks to the end node. When a functioning path exists from the start node through the end node, the system is operating.
3. To insert data about the diagram in the RBD Table, do the following:
a. For Identifier, enter Memory Board; then, press the Tab key
b. For Description, enter Block Diagram for the Memory Board Assembly. Do not press the Tab key as this would cause the Phase Diagrams folder to be selected.
