Additional Maintainability Features
Windchill Maintainability includes a number of additional features and functions. A brief listing of other topics of interest is shown below. For more information about these features, see the help or guide for Windchill Risk and Reliability.
• You can use Maintainability Tasks Library files to store standard maintenance tasks and repair time so that they can easily be copied into any maintainability prediction. While a supplied Maintainability Tasks Library contains the task data from MIL-HDBK-472, you can create any number of your own files.
• You have the option of performing maintainability calculations based on MIL-HDBK-472 Procedure 2, 5A, or 5B standards.
• You can use Maintainability Groups files to perform MIL-HDBK-472 Procedure 5A calculations.
• You can link items in your maintainability prediction with items in other modules such as Windchill Prediction and Windchill RBD.
• You can use default repair levels or defined your own custom repair levels.
• You can export maintainability data to LSAR compatible formats.
