Specifying Settings for Connecting to the Web Services

Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator > Administrator Basics > Getting Started How-Tos > Specifying Settings for Connecting to the Web Services

For users to be able to start Windchill Risk and Reliability Web services, they must have the address of the web server, which is the computer on which the web services are installed. This address is included in the email message that is sent to a user when Configure > Send Account Information is selected.

1. Select Tools > Options. The Options window opens.

2. For General > Web server address, enter the address for the web server in the following format:

http://machine_name, where machine_name is the name of the computer where Windchill Risk and Reliability Web Services are installed.

If the address of the web server is not specified, when you attempt to send account information to a user, a window opens, displaying a message that the web server address is empty and that users need this address to connect to Windchill Risk and Reliability Web Services.
