Deleting a Group
You can use the Delete command to delete any group but the default Administrators group from the Groups area. You can also use this same command to delete any LDAP group from the LDAP Groups area. The following procedure is applicable to both of these areas.
1. In the shortcut bar, if the appropriate Groups area is not active, click its icon to make it active.
2. In the Groups pane, do one of the following:
Click the group and press Delete.
Right-click the group and select Delete.
Click the group and then select Edit > Delete.
A window opens for confirming its deletion.
3. Click Yes.
*
Deleting an LDAP group from the LDAP Groups area does not delete this group from the LDAP server. Deleting an LDAP group also does not delete LDAP users inserted by searching directories for this group as these users might belong to multiple LDAP groups or to Windchill Risk and Reliability groups.
