Authentication Page
The Authentication page provides information that the mail server requires for the email account specified on the Settings page. This page appears not only in the Email Settings window here in the Administrator application but also in the Email Settings window for a Project’s Workflow file and in the Alert File Properties window for a Project’s Alert file. The following table describes the properties on the Authentication page.

Description
Mail server requires authentication
Indicates whether authentication of user account information is required by the mail server. When this checkbox is cleared (default), authentication is not required. When it is selected, the properties described below are made available so that you can provide the authentication information required by the server.
Use same settings as email account
Indicates whether to use the account information entered on the Settings page to log in to the mail server. When this option is selected (default), the same user name and password are used.
Log in using
Indicates whether to use different account information to log in to the mail server. When this option is selected, User name and Password become available so that you can provide the account information to use to log in to the mail server.
