Although you should use queue pooling instead of dedicated queues where possible, Windchill supports dedicated queues when they are needed.

Dedicated queues are queues that are tied to specific workflow templates. This might be helpful in scenarios where particular workflow templates are being used heavily or are using complex functionality resulting in generation lo long funning queue entries.

In order to enforce dedicated queue processing on specific workflow templates, you must first enable dedicated queues in wt. properties, then set the “has dedicated queue” flag to true in the corresponding workflow template.
