A preference in the Windchill Preference Management utility allows an administrator to enable users to set a higher revision level than the next label in the revision scheme.

When set to Yes (default), the Revise > Allow Override On Create CAD Document preference adds a Select Revision command to the Revise and New CAD Document user interfaces that allows the user to skip one or more levels of revision during a revise operation or when creating a new CAD document. When the preference is set to No, during a revision the object is revised to a default target/next revision in the series.
