「PTC UDI 授權」設定檔已在 Windchill 12.1.1.0 中引入。「PTC UDI 授權」需要「PTC Contribute 授權」作為先決條件。此授權設定檔支援 Unique Device Identification 模組的所有功能與動作，例如建立 UDI、編輯 UDI、重新整理 UDI、核准或大量核准 UDI、驗證 UDI 及跟進 UDI。
「新建 UDI」動作已從「PTC 品質授權」設定檔與「PTC 品質 - 醫療裝置授權」設定檔中移除，現可在「PTC UDI 授權」設定檔中找到。
