If more than one rule is selected in the Search Results table, then the edit icon and Edit in the right-click action menu are disabled. The action is also disabled for rules from other contexts that are displayed as a result of including ancestor domains in the search. |
Property | Action | ||
---|---|---|---|
Type | Click find to open the Find Type window. Select the object type for which you are defining a rule from the Object Type tree.
Types that are not instantiable do not display in the Find Types window by default, however any that you specify in the property wt.admin.hierarchyListAdditions.wt.index.Indexable of the wt.properties file will be displayed provided the type can be indexed. | ||
State | Select the life cycle state that an object must be in for the rule to apply, or select All to apply the rule to the object, regardless of its state. If State does not apply to the selected object type, it is disabled. | ||
Available Collections | Lists the collections defined for the system in the following properties: wt.index.federatedLibraries and wt.index.federatedLibrariesForSearch. To move a collection from the Available Collections list into the Selected Collections list, double-click on the collection name or select one or more collections and click Add. | ||
Selected Collections | At least one collection must be selected to create an indexing rule. To remove a collection from the Selected Collections list and return it to the Available collections list, double-click on the collection name or select one or more collections and click Remove. Clear All removes all collections from the Selected Collections list and returns them to the Available Collections list. |
