Using the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration License
Creating and editing markups for PDF document or drawing representations in Creo View using the native PDF viewer requires the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration license. The Windchill Visualization Services module validates the license information for users opening a representation and provides it to Creo View to enable required actions.

The PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration license is available as named license and Active Daily User license. To use the PDF markup capability for PDF in Creo View, users must be added to the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration License group or to the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration - Active Daily User License group.

The Windchill PDF Collaboration action used for PDF review must be enabled for the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration License profile. If the user is added either to the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration License group or to the PTC Windchill PDF Collaboration - Active Daily User License group, the PDF review capabilities such as creating and editing markups for PDF documents or drawing viewables in Creo View are available to them.
