Client Report for Windchill Workgroup Manager
Overview
The Client Report for Windchill Workgroup Manager gathers client-side information about the CAD application integration with Windchill. The client information is collected when the Windchill Workgroup Manager session is started and is connected to Windchill. The data is saved locally when the Windchill Workgroup Manager ends its session. When you start the Windchill Workgroup Manager the next day, the saved data is sent to Windchill Performance Advisor.
You can opt-in to send the report to PTC by selecting this data type and then selecting the Yes, I want to send data to PTC option available on the Windchill Performance Advisor dialog box. Once the Client Report is enabled by Windchill administrator, the setting applies to all Windchill Workgroup Manager users.
The Client Report for Windchill workgroup Manager contains the following information:
• Windchill Workgroup Manager version information
• User session information (start time/ end time/ duration)
• Exit type (normal Vs abnormal)
• Language in which client is launched
• Embedded Browser type and version
• Local Cache information (cache size, workspace size)
• Connected CAD application information (CAD name, version)
• Logging status (whether client ran with logging enabled)
