License Usage Report
The LicensingReport.xml report contains information about Windchill license usage. The report contains the following sections:
General Information section, which lists the following information:
Reporting Period—The date range for report generation.
Registered Users—Number of users who have access to Windchill based on the JNDI adapter configuration.
Total Active Users—Number of active users defined within the WTUser table.
Active Users in past 30 days—Number of users who have logged on during the last 30 days.
Deleted User
Disconnected Users
License Usage Summary section lists the active license groups, number of users in each license group, total licenses, and the number of licenses used.
Detailed License Usage section lists the types of licenses used by each active user.
Active Daily License Usage Summary Info section lists the maximum number of concurrent users in a day per license group over a week.
Detailed Active User License Usage section lists the usage count per user per license group over a week.
License Feature Usage section lists the license name, feature name, total license count, license available count, license type, license expiration date, whether or not the license has expired, license group name, and license group size.

Windchill is configured to automatically transmit license usage data to PTC for license compliance purposes, thus providing you with license consumption insights and trends to best manage your license entitlements.
To request an exemption from sharing license usage data, open a PTC Technical Support case using the Case Logger and select License Service – Exemption Request as the area.
License Auditing for Clients and Group Change Events
The LicensingClientUsage.xml and the LicensingAuditReport.xml reports contain information about:
LicensingClientUsage.xml report — Clients accessing Windchill.
LicensingAuditReport.xml report — Change in membership to license groups. For example, when a user switches the license features, or is added or removed from the license groups.
