About the Collect Raw Material or Semi-Finished Objects Action
Use this action to collect the raw materials from a finished part or semi-finished part. Consider the following points related to this action:
• You can initiate this action only when you select one or more finished parts.
• On initiating this action, the system collects all the available raw materials for the part.
• In the case where the Made From Set is used, the system skips the Made From Set object and collects the raw materials under the Made From Set object.
• If the finished part is using Made From Set, the action will skip it and directly collect all the applicable raw materials
• If the same raw material is used under a different Made From Set, then the system collects the raw material only once.
• If the selected object does not have any raw material, no results are displayed by the system.
• The collection of raw material is dependent on the applied configuration specification in the collector.
• The action is enabled only for parts
• The action collects the raw material only for the first level. If the raw material has a recursive raw material structure under it, it won’t be collected.
