Customizing UI Strings
The information page of the string organizer enables you to modify the properties of the selected organizer and the strings that are defined within it. Any changes made to a string are automatically propagated to all instances of that string used within the system.
Before you begin, ensure that the information page of the string organizer is displayed in edit mode. If not, select Edit from the Actions menu or from the right-click actions menu of the string organizer in the left navigation pane.
The next sections provide an overview of the different ways in which you can customize a string.
Modify String Organizer Properties
The properties provide useful information that helps you identify a string organizer and understand its purpose. You can modify the display name property of the string organizer to suit your business needs.
Modify UI Strings
The Entries tab enables you to view and manage the strings used in the UI. You can perform the following customizations on these strings:
• Add a string for use in a UI. For more information, see Creating a String.
• Delete a string if you do not want it to be used anymore. For more information, see Deleting a String.
• Modify an out-of-the-box string to suit your business needs using the View and Edit Entry Properties

Click Done to save your edits and return to view mode. Alternatively, click Save to save your edits, but remain in edit mode.
