Benefit
You can now launch multiple Creo sessions that can be connected to different workspaces or disks using Creo 9.0.2 and later versions. This enables you to visually compare changes between two different versions of a CAD Document side-by-side or simply improve productivity by allowing the user to quickly shift back and forth from one design task to another.
Additional Details
Earlier Creo versions allowed only one active workspace. However, with Creo 9.0.2 you do not need to share session information with other Creo sessions connected to the same agent. This enables different instances to safely connect to different active workspaces or disks without any additional set up or configuration by the CAD administrator. If you use this version of Creo with an older version of Windchill (like 12.0.2), then you will be still limited to one active workspace.
