Modifying Modeled Enumerations
A new configuration tool, Customize Modeled Enumerations, is available for modifying the out-of-the-box modeled enumerations, such as life cycle state, without the need to restart the server.
Benefit
The tool can be run from the Windchill UI, and it does not require a system restart, as compared to the legacy enumCustomize utility. This utility had to be run from the command line and required a system restart for the changes to take effect.
Summary
Use the Customize Modeled Enumerations tool in the Type and Attribute Management utility for adding, removing, and modifying enumeration entries, and controlling their display.
