EXPRESS is the modeling language used by STEP for defining the information model for the data exchange. To support STEP-based data exchange using EXPRESS Data Manager (EDM), Windchill provides EXPRESS schema-specific definitions for its proprietary information model for data exchange. This model represented in the form of DTD schema describes the information being exchanged for various business objects (concepts) represented and managed in Windchill.
