CAPA Page Overview
The CAPA page is available by expanding a quality context in the Navigator and clicking CAPA. This page allows you to view corrective and preventive action objects (CAPAs) in their given workflow state.
A CAPA is an organized collection of objects that are developed, reviewed, delivered, updated, or managed as a CAPA. You can find CAPAs in the CAPA table by their Record ID value.
Changing the Table View
You can limit the CAPAs that appear in the table by selecting a view from the CAPA list.
The following views are available:
• Open—View all open CAPAs.
• Investigations—View all CAPAs in the investigation state.
• Incomplete—View all CAPAs with incomplete information. These CAPAs are in the request state.
• All—View all CAPAs including current and backlog CAPAs.
• Closed—View all closed CAPAs.
Column Information
To define your own view for the
CAPA table, select
Customize from the
CAPA list. This action allows you to select which package types and columns appear in the table and to determine the order in which the columns appear. For more information, see

Click the information icon
to view the
information page for a CAPA.
Create a New CAPA
Click the new CAPA icon
to create a new CAPA. For more information, see
