Windchill Supplier Management extends standard Windchill PDMLink capabilities by providing engineers with access to the supplier data and the ability to work with AML/AVL.

Once the supplier data is integrated with Windchill, engineers can add manufacturer and vendor parts to the AMLs/AVLs, change the sourcing status of supplier parts, search for manufacturer and vendor parts, or obtain various reports on the relationships between OEM parts and associated supplier parts.

You can capture a product structure with specific versions of manufacturer and vendor parts specified for OEM parts. You do this by creating a baseline that includes manufacturer and vendor parts listed in the product structure for all related parts of the OEM part.
