New Parameter |
Opens the New Parameter window to specify the values for the new parameter. Each parameter is given its own row in the table.
If required, the selected part is automatically checked out when you create a new parameter. The new parameter is added in the last row of the Parameters table.
If Specified By is set to Value, the value is validated based on the parameter types.
If Specified By is set to Expression, the expression is validated to ensure the syntax is correct. The Expression Editor is launched in a separate dialog box.
|
Edit |
Opens the Edit Parameter window for the selected parameter, where the parameter values can be modified.
Opens the Page Break Properties window for the selected page break, where the page break properties can be modified. The page break properties include image URL, image height, image width, and the title.
|
Insert Page Break Below |

|
Move Up |
Moves the selected parameter or page break row up in the Parameters table. This action cannot be performed on the first row in this table.
|
Move Down |
Moves the selected parameter or page break row down in the Parameters table. This action cannot be performed on the last row in this table.

Actions
|
Contains the following actions to manage the parameters defined for the part. Some of these actions are also available on the toolbar of the Parameters tab:
• New Parameter
• Edit
• Delete
• Insert Page Break
• Insert Child Resolution: Inserts a child resolution row in the table below the selected row. The action can be performed only when the total number of child parts does not exceed the defined child resolution count. A child resolution is used to change the order of the input parameters so that those of the child part are processed by the system at that time. If the structure contains multiple levels of child parts, a child resolution can be inserted for each parent part in the structure to reference its children.
• Inherit Parameters: Allows one or more parameters defined for the parent part to be inherited for the selected part. This action is unavailable for top-level parts.
• Move Up
• Move Down
