About File Server Sites

As explained in other sections, main and File Server sites are related to replication. For more information about replication, see About Replication.

The label (This Installation) appears after the site name for the site to which you are currently connected. You can configure this site by clicking Update from the Site Management window (available from Site

> Utilities > File Server Administration). This automatically generated site’s URL is the value of the wt.httpgw.url.anonymous property in the wt.properties file.

System software ensures that the automatically generated site labeled (This Installation) can continue serving its role in the event of a change in the value of the wt.httpgw.url.anonymous property in the wt.properties file. If the value changes, the system assigns the new URL to it, and a warning message is displayed on the main site console.
