Adding Objects to Export
To export an object, you must have read access to the object and all its attributes. For example, you must have read access to the Team of an object if the Team template name is one of the exported attributes. There are some objects that you can export if you do not have read access, but they are shown with the Secured Information label. These objects are: lifecycle templates, team templates, domains, folders, organization IDs, and contexts.
To add objects to export:
1. In the
Objects for Export section of the
Export window, click the add icon
.
The Add Objects to Export window opens.
2. Select a structure type and then click OK.
The Search the top level object window opens.
3. Enter search criteria and click Search.
4. Select an object in the search results and then click OK. The object you selected appears in the Objects for Export section of the Export window.
5. Repeat these steps to add additional objects for export.
| You can remove objects from the list in the Export window by selecting them and clicking the remove icon . Multiple objects can be selected pressing CTRL or SHIFT in combination with clicking on the objects you want to remove. |
